Chelsey Nelson

Chelsey was born and raised here in Rochester! Growing up she lived a very active life, participating in sports such as dance, softball and volleyball. Chelsey played collegiate Fastpitch softball and was starting third base for the University of Wisconsin Stout Blue Devils. She graduated from Stout with a degree in Dietetics.  After working for a year in the field, Chelsey wanted to work closer with people who lived a similar lifestyle! That is when she received her L1 certification! After a year of coaching and trying to find what she really wanted to do in life. Chelsey was accepted into the Mayo School of Health Science Histotechnology program. She graduated in May of 2016, and is now a certified Histotechnologist (HTL) and works at Mayo.

I live a very active life outside of the gym. I enjoy the outdoors! I recently got into hunting and love it! I shoot a Mathews Chill sdx bow. I enjoy hiking, snowboarding, camping and shooting archery. My favorite color is pink (like the only color i wear to the gym) and I love love love ice cream (Coldstone peanut butter cup perfection).
